Submission records the work. Review turns it into a result you can use.

The attempt becomes Pending Review

When you submit a practice test or mock examination, the platform records the attempt and closes its question blocks. It appears in your dashboard with a Pending Review status. Its score and answer key are not available to you at that stage.

This is a status you can track, not an error. You can return to the dashboard to see whether the result has been released. If you contact ABC-123 about the attempt, include its title and submission date so staff can find the right record.

Administration checks the assessment

Administrators can inspect submitted responses and review the assessment before publishing a result. If an item is flawed, they can exclude it with a recorded reason. The exclusion removes that item from the correct count and from the scored question count.

An adjusted result therefore depends on the remaining scored items. Its percentage describes that assessment; it does not convert into an official USMLE score. A tutor can help interpret it alongside the other work in your preparation history.

A released result has separate review permissions

Administration controls result release, question review and explanation access separately. Once released, the score and permitted performance breakdowns are available. Some attempts may allow answer review, others may allow a result without full question content.

Use the information actually released for that attempt. Personal notes and bookmarks can help you keep a trace of the questions you want to revisit without assuming every assessment will expose its complete answer key.

Use the result for a next step

Look at the number of questions behind each breakdown as well as the percentage. A small group of items gives less information than a larger set. Compare the result with several attempts and with the purpose of this particular session.

Your assigned tutor can connect recurring areas with a more focused assignment or a longitudinal report. A report may remain a staff draft until administration publishes it. Once released, it appears in your dashboard with print and DOCX download options.
